Many of us turn to sports for enlightenment.  Sports allow you to reach a primal state in which one is simply reacting to ones senses.  Dipping in and out of this state gives the individual great amounts of positive energy.

Its our escape:  A vacation from ourselves, our minds.  Without an escape one can drive themselves crazy.  Wither its snowboarding, mountain biking, skating, skiing, climbing, yoga, etc.  The energy one receives being completely focused on the snow, dirt, or rock is truly powerful.  A wonderful connection can be felt.  The moment being very intense requires one to focus (on the moment).

Its during this sync of you and the moment when one has no worries about past nor future and it is truly enlightened.
